Hello, I’m Mia Wexford, an IT security professional from Australia with a strong focus on VPN development, network security, and protecting digital privacy. Over the past fifteen years, I have combined formal education with practical experience to help individuals and organisations secure their online presence.

I graduated from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) with a degree in Information Technology, specialising in network systems and cybersecurity. While my academic training gave me a solid technical foundation, it was hands-on work in the field that truly shaped my expertise.

From 2008 to 2012, I worked as a Network Administrator and Security Analyst for a major Australian telecommunications company, gaining insight into ISP-level networks, data security practices, and complex infrastructure challenges. Between 2012 and 2016, I served as an IT Security Consultant for small and medium-sized businesses in Melbourne, implementing end-to-end security solutions, performing vulnerability assessments, and training teams to maintain strong cybersecurity practices.

Since 2016, I have been operating independently as a Security Consultant and Educator, specialising in VPN solutions and personal privacy protection. My work includes personalised consultations, comprehensive security audits, educational content, and ongoing research into encryption, online tracking, and user-friendly protection strategies.

In addition to my technical work, I actively support privacy advocacy in Australia. I contribute to discussions on data retention laws, engage with cybersecurity forums, and work with privacy-focused organisations to advance digital rights and make online security accessible to everyone.

Today, I continue developing privacy-driven solutions and VPN technologies aimed at making secure internet usage simple and reliable.
